This year I’m training to run the Women race 2025 this January. Last year, right after the tragic passing of my sister Emunah Hekmati, I created Team Emunah. BH I personally was able to raise over $17,000 with all of your help! This year I hope to raise a goal of just $2,300!! This is an amazing cause to donate to as well!!
Last year's message: "Hi! As you probably know, this past June 10th on shabbat afternoon, my 20 year old sister, Emunah Rivkah bat Benyamin, tragically passed away. Emunah was like an angel without wings and someone who I can't even explain how amazing she was through words. One really special thing about Emunah was that she was very involved in helping children who are sick or who have special needs. She saw the spirituality in each and every one of them and tried hard to help them reach their potential. From the age of 12 (8 years), she put in hundreds of hours in order to help them. She was someone who thought of an idea and made it happen. As Emunah's little sister who Emunah has been the biggest role model of for the past 16 and a half years of my life, I would like to try to continue emulating her by running this marathon to help kids like the ones Emunah has helped for the past 8 years. I am running to raise money for Chaiyanu/Chai Lifeline Israel, a wonderful organization dedicated to helping very sick children and their families. I heard about this and I thought that it would be a great way to continue my initiative of "Engraving Emunah Into Our Lives". The following is the link for that. DON'T GET DISTRACTED BY THAT AND REMEMBER TO RETURN TO THIS PAGE!!! docs.google.com/document/d/1DM_UalmYdk0h1lHYMBjnTeJVPLcN-dNkpfYGoGDSHj8/edit?usp=sharing.
As great as this idea sounds, I know I can’t do it alone. I need your help. Why am I getting off the couch, spending endless hours raising money, and training to run a 21k when I have seminary, college, and a life to take care of? Sick kids. For children with cancer or other serious illnesses, life as they knew it is over. Instead of happy, carefree childhoods, there are days filled with pain, isolation, and treatment. Chaiyanu is a wonderful organization that provides year–round emotional, social, and financial support to more than 400 children and their families every year. Chaiyanu´s programs and activities change their lives forever, returning joy and hope and enabling them to live full and happy lives despite the presence of illness. Its most famous program is Camp Simcha and its sister, the Hope Tour. Every year these two programs offer 100 kids a chance to forget about illness and just be kids again. To get a better idea of what Chaiyanu does for families, please watch the videos below. I know they will touch your heart the way they touched mine. This marathon won't be easy but it definitely can't beat the pain we're still all going through from this loss. Remember: I need your help to raise as much money as possible for these kids. So please, push the donate button and help me put smiles on the faces of sick children. Let's do this together! Let's make dreams come true. All of this is going to be Leulei nishmat Emunah Rivkah Bat Benyamin :) This isn't just my page though. This year, the entire women's Team Lifeline Israel race is going to be dedicated Leulei Nishmat Emunah Rivkah bat Benyamin. We need to raise $20,000 for my parents and younger sister to be able to join me on this special occasion.Thank you everyone who has donated so far! WE ARE ALMOST AT OUR GOAL!! WE CAN DO THIS!! LETS GO!!! Trust us, EVERY single dollar counts! We feel so appreciative! Send this to your friends, family friends, and ect!! Thank you! -Chana ~ chanarachel613@gmail.com

P.S. All donations are 100% tax-deductible and the Team Lifeline website makes donations quick, easy, and secure."
This year I'm in seminary in Rechavia, Yerushalayim with just a talk only flip phone and email to spread the word. Please help me make it to year 2 for Emunah 😘
