This past summer, I spent two weeks working in Camp Simcha, a project of Chai Lifeline, which offers kids fighting cancer and other illnesses an opportunity to have the most incredible summer where they can escape from their hardships and experience an atmosphere charged with energy and enthusiasm.
After being a part of this amazing camp, I was inspired to help give back to this incredible cause that is so meaningful to both the kids and the staff.
I have never run a race, nor am I a runner. However, I registered for my first race to help give these kids the summer, and year, they so badly need.
