Hi my name is Adina Pilchick This year I will be running in memory of Talia.
This summer I went to Israel to donate 18 inches of my hair. I sponsored a grand breakfast for the whole cancer ward for all children in the hospital. we got a magician to come down and we danced with them and then I got to go to all the rooms and hand out breakfast to the sick children who couldn't come out of their rooms. We Went around giving out gifts, this is where Talia comes in!!.. about a month before I came to Israel Talia was told that there's nothing they could do to save Her. She had not spoken to anyone since. When I handed Her a Huge gift we connected immediately. The first words she said in a month was
"can I give you a hug". All the staff came running hearing of the miracle. They were shocked to hear Her asking me if She can hug me. And that smile of Hers im wearing till today!! I got a call about 2 weeks ago from one of Her nurses that She has passed away. Talia I wish I got to spend more time with You. But I will carry on your smile forever cause you showed me that even when were in pain we can still Smile.
