You may already know that we're training to run the Girls Race this January. Running a marathon is a personal challenge, but we're not in this just for the glory. We're running for something important. We are running as a team to raise money for Chaiyanu, a wonderful organization dedicated to helping very sick children and their families. We heard about this and we had to do something. However, we know we canโ€™t do it alone. We need your help. Chaiyanu is a wonderful organization that provides yearโ€“round emotional, social, and financial support to more than 4,500 children and their families every year. Chaiyanuยดs programs and activities change their lives forever, returning joy and hope and enabling them to live full and happy lives despite the presence of illness. Its most famous program is Camp Simcha and its sister program, the Hope Tour. Every year these two trips offer 450 kids a chance to forget about illness and just be kids again. To get a better idea of what Chaiyanu does for families, please watch the videos below. We know they will touch your heart the way they touched ours. Training is not easy, but neither is dealing with illness. If the children of Chaiyanu can fight each day, if they can push themselves to go through hospital stays and treatments, we can do this for them. But we can't do this without your support. It is very true that training to fitness and dealing with illness toward healing both are challenging.
