This year I will be challenging myself to run the Team Lifeline Israel race in memory of Miri Berkowitz one of the most angelic little girls i have ever met, Miri always had a smile on her face we called her “Miri Mituka” because that's exactly what she was; sweet! Her face reflected her Neshama. She was my best friend; she was everyone's best friend. She will forever have a huge place in my heart. I’m running and raising to help children like Miri battling serious illness go to Camp Simcha.
This past summer I was lucky to be Elishevas Councelor, she taught me a lot and is an inspiration to me and so many others (watch her video below)
Camp Simcha has changed my life!
I thank Hashem for giving me this incredible opportunity to have helped change the lives of so many children with illness. Each one of my campers have given me a new perspective on how I should live life to the fullest, they taught me we don't know what life will bring and we don't know when our last day will be. As I watch each camper persevere through their daily challenges with the biggest smile, it gives me chizzuk and gets me through the day!
