I’m lucky to be able to spend the year learning in Israel and gaining so much for myself. This made me realize that I want to do something that will make me feel good, but this time through giving to others.
Team Lifeline Israel is an all-women’s marathon benefiting Chayeinu. Chayeinu is the Israeli branch of Chai Lifeline, which provides children going through cancer and their families with everything and more to help them navigate a very difficult cancer journey.
I have personally been involved with Chai Lifeline for several years now and have formed relationships with so many of these precious children, who I have decided to run for. I have personally seen the impact that Chai Lifeline has on kids during their most vulnerable times.
Throughout high school, I consistently volunteered with kids, taking them out to give them a chance to forget about their pain and enjoy a fun time outside of the hospital. I have also been to Camp Simcha multiple times and was privileged to see the magic that goes on at camp, which is directly where your donations go.
While running is definitely not easy, I’m choosing to do this for them, and I need your help. Any donation to help get me closer to my goal goes a long way. By supporting me, you’re supporting so many children who I care for.
Thank you for allowing me to look beyond myself while I’m in Israel and take this opportunity to put others first!
Tizku l’mitzvos! Can’t wait to cross the finish line! 💓💓
