Hi,
I can’t believe this is going to be my 4th marathon with Team Lifeline.
Running a marathon is something I thought would be impossible for me to do- especially with all the necessary fundraising. In general, I don’t like fundraising AT ALL. However…..Team Lifeline is different for me, especially Team Lifeline Israel. Being staff in Camp Simcha for the last 7 years, and being a division head the last 3 summers taught me what genuine giving looks like.
There are no words to describe the feeling of knowing that what we give to these children in 2 weeks ( all the fun, smiles, laughter) is what carries them throughout the entire year from their hospital beds to their homes.Especially the children living in Israel who are fighting cancer and living in a constant state of war:(
It seems impossible -but seeing it first hand really showed me what true happiness is for these children. Unfortunately, sometimes the children of Chai Lifeline don’t make it through their battle, which makes running even more meaningful.
I will be running לעילוי נשמת Michal Tal Bas Yisroel, Esther Baila Bas Yehoshua Mordechai, Debra Bas Esther, and Henna Perel bas Avrohom Zev… All Neshamos that inspired me to be the best version of myself, and who I think about all the time. May their Neshamas have an Aliya. Please consider donating in order to help me continue bringing smiles to the most holy children on earth in their happy place -Camp Simcha, and throughout the rest of the year:)
Chai Lifeline is not just some random organization to me. It’s a family, and I personally see the amount of endless work that’s done on their end in order to give these children the smiles they deserve that will stick with them forever😃🙏
Maaser money can be used and every single dollar makes a difference!!! 🤗🥳🇮🇱
