Bring Hope to Israeli Kids with Cancer

Temima Gerbitz

Temima Gerbitz

Hi, my name is Temima. I'm 16 years old and I live in Israel. I'm training to run a marathon to raise money for Chaiyanu, a wonderful organization dedicated to helping very sick Israeli children with cancer and their families. When I heard about this amazing way to help these kids I knew had to do something. But I can’t do it alone. I need your help!

Chaiyanu provides year-round emotional, social, and financial support to more than 400 children and their families every year. Their programs change the lives of these kids forever, returning much-deserved joy and hope and enabling them to live full and happy lives despite the presence of a terrible illness.

Its most famous program is Camp Simcha and its sister, the Hope Tour. Every year these programs offer kids a chance to forget about illness and just be kids again. To get a better idea of what Chaiyanu does for families, please watch the videos below. I know they will touch your heart the way they touched mine.

Training is not easy, but neither is dealing with cancer. If the children of Chaiyanu can fight each day, if they can push themselves to go through hospital stays and treatment, I can do this for them. But I can't do this without your support. I need your help to raise as much money as possible for these kids.

So please, donate generously and help put smiles on the faces of very sick children. Let's do this together. Let's make their dreams come true!

With Blessings from Israel,
