Hi everyone,

I’m really excited to be running the Men’s Race 2027 in Jerusalem this January, and especially excited that this will be my second year running with Team Lifeline. 🏃‍♂️💙

Last year, I signed up thinking I was taking on a personal challenge while raising money for a great cause. What I didn’t expect was how much the experience would change my perspective and how much this cause would come to mean to me.

Chaiyanu / Chai Lifeline Israel is an organization that stands alongside children with serious illnesses and their families throughout one of the hardest periods of their lives. When a child is sick, it affects the entire family. Life can quickly become about doctors, hospitals, treatments, appointments, and uncertainty.

Chaiyanu helps bring some of the childhood and family life back into that picture.

They give children opportunities to forget, even for a little while, that they are sick. They create experiences where they can laugh, make friends, go on trips, celebrate, and simply be kids. They also give parents and siblings support and moments where they can step away from the constant stress and feel like a family again.

Programs like Camp Simcha and the Hope Tour are a huge part of that. They give children something to look forward to and memories that stay with them long after the experience is over. To me, that is what makes this organization so special — it doesn’t take away the challenges these families are facing, but it helps make those challenges a little easier to carry.

That’s what brought me back for another year.

Last year, running for Team Lifeline gave me a purpose behind every mile. It made me realize how meaningful it is to take something that challenges me personally and turn it into an opportunity to give back to others. It also gave me a greater appreciation for the things in my own life that I sometimes take for granted.

I’m incredibly grateful to everyone who supported me last year. Every donation, message, and word of encouragement meant so much to me and made me feel like I wasn’t running alone.

This year, I’m hoping to raise even more and help give more children and families the opportunity to experience the joy, support, and hope that Chaiyanu provides.
